The new LOK drive: We are the People (Martin Garrix ft. Bono & the Edge)

Martin Garrix produces the official European Championship 2021 song 'We are the people'. The Dutch DJ and producer has been appointed by UEFA to make the song for EURO 2021. He does this together with none other than Bono and The Edge from U2. "We are the People" is the official song for EURO 2021 released a month before kick-off. The song was written to celebrate the festivities and the football. It is about the problems that people face in the world and about a joint solution to those problems. The European Championship song hopes to radiate positivity, hope and determination so that every team can succeed at the tournament. The song should also create a sense of togetherness. Garrix's vision came to life when Bono and The Edge of the legendary band U2 agreed to participate in the song. Bono wrote the lyrics and created the melodies, while The Edge added guitar riffs. The song composed by these great world artists is meant to get football fans in the mood for and during the European Championship. And now this week LOKSCHIJF!

The monument can also serve to continue telling the story of the arrival of Moluccans in the Netherlands to current and future generations. For anyone interested in this history, the foundation wants to offer an opportunity to learn more. They believe that more knowledge of each other's past leads to more understanding.
