Pictura presents: We got your back

In this edition of Happy Hour we have two tasty plates -> delicious in this sunny weather. In the second part of the program we talk to visual artist and photographer Anja de Jong (https://www.anjadejong.nl/home) about the first online exhibition of the oldest artists' association in the Netherlands, Teekengenootschap Pictura in Dordrecht (https://www.pictura.nl/ sale). These are not easy times, which is why Pictura has decided to help its members by presenting them online. All kinds of works of art can be seen and can of course also be bought for a very reasonable price!

Of course we also have time for nice summer music and oh yes the announcement of the new LOKSCHIJF!

Decade Dick: Almost all participants passed the traffic exam

Freek Bredius was a guest in Decennium Dick on behalf of Safe Traffic Netherlands department Krimpen aan den IJssel. He was able to tell us that 421 children participated in the practical traffic exam today. All but five children passed. Congratulations to all! The children who did not make it turned out to have cycled on the route with their hands free. The route started and ended at the Tuyter. Mayor Martijn Vroom was present to officially start the first class. 7.3 Kilometers was cycled and the children of the groups 7 and 8 passed all kinds of difficult intersections and traffic situations in Krimpen aan den IJssel. What was very annoying and difficult was that there have been young people who removed or turned around signs from the route. In addition, some plates are irreparably damaged. That was one of the texts that was written down in chalk on the public road near the Mieras Church on Saturday. How can we find love again in Krimpen? Living with pleasure is also one of the central points of the Youth Advisory Council of Krimpens-Belang. A group of 15 young people want to help local politicians with their ideas and will provide the Krimpens-Belang and thus actually the entire municipal council with input.
