Movement is part of the essence of children

Theo de Groot (1960) has many years of experience in training and coaching people and supporting teams and organizations. He is founder, together with Mariska Beenhakker and co-owner of Thema, playing with behavior -> it brings people from different educational backgrounds and backgrounds together.

A background in psychology and exercise has meant that Theo often sees differently about guiding and managing people. Switching quickly between theory and practice. Nothing is as theoretical as good practice and nothing is more practical than good theory. A statement by Theo de Groot is: “the best teacher is an eternal student”.

In this episode of Happy Hour we are going to talk with Theo de Groot about, among other things, the book “Education in moving at primary school”. It goes without saying that we play Theo de Groot's choice of music.

Freek Bredius was a guest in Decennium Dick on behalf of Safe Traffic Netherlands department Krimpen aan den IJssel. He was able to tell us that 421 children participated in the practical traffic exam today. All but five children passed. Congratulations to all! The children who did not make it turned out to have cycled on the route with their hands free. The route started and ended at the Tuyter.
