Dire ginger nuts situation at primary school in Westerbork: a call to Q saves Sinterklaas party

Code red, last week at Kindcentrum De Wegwijzer in Westerbork: the order for the gingerbread cookies for the Sinterklaas party at school had not been received.

In total, the child center, which houses two primary schools, had ordered 370 bags of gingerbread cookies for all pupils. "The day an MR member wanted to pick up the gingerbread cookies, it turned out that the order had not been received," says Laura Smilda. “We tried to order from other branches, but none of them were able to deliver them on time. Pepernoten were available, but the point was that they were corona-proof in the bags. ” A pepper-nut-free Sinterklaas party threatened De Wegwijzer.
In an effort to get the ginger nuts in time, Smilda sent a message to Domien Verschuuren's radio show on Qmusic asking if he could help. "Then suddenly I got an answer from Domien asking if I wanted to do my story in the broadcast."
No sooner said than done. After Smilda explained the situation, the DJ reported that he had called around and Bolletje would personally deliver the 370 bags of gingerbread cookies to the school. "I've been busy with it today and have had them on the phone 25 times," said the DJ in the broadcast. A joking warning also followed for next year. 'Laura, I want to warn you about next year, because I don't do this two years in a row, but now I wish you a very nice Sinterklaas party this year'
This afternoon, December 2, the ginger nuts were delivered by Bolletje. Nicely done by Domien! Class!!!

In this Happy Hour we will of course call someone who has a birthday , yes yes, still today! And then I am talking about my radio colleague, the presenter of Decennium Dick and co-presenter of Kijk op Krimpen.

We have two separate Jukebox Giants, starring Frank Kramer, who passed away today . Former football player and TV presenter Frank Kramer has died at the age of 73. According to Philip Kooke, writer of the biography of the striking figure. Kramer had been ill for some time. His football career took Kramer past FC Amsterdam, Telstar and FC Volendam, among others. He was considered an erratic attacker. After his football career he became a host of game shows such as Hints and Boggle . Until two years ago he was active as a commentator on Eurosport. Kramer was taken to hospital last Friday after becoming unwell on his own birthday. Johan Derksen announced this on Monday in the TV program Veronica Inside . "He is very bad," said Derksen in the broadcast about his condition. The former football player and presenter will leave a message through his biographer on Wednesday. "Frank would like to tell you this," Kooke writes on Twitter. “Folks, it was beautiful. Thank you all very much. ”

Freek Bredius was a guest in Decennium Dick on behalf of Safe Traffic Netherlands department Krimpen aan den IJssel. He was able to tell us that 421 children participated in the practical traffic exam today. All but five children passed. Congratulations to all! The children who did not make it turned out to have cycled on the route with their hands free. The route started and ended at the Tuyter. Mayor Martijn Vroom was present to officially start the first class. 7.3 Kilometers was cycled and the children of the groups 7 and 8 passed all kinds of difficult intersections and traffic situations in Krimpen aan den IJssel. What was very annoying and difficult was that there have been young people who removed or turned around signs from the route. In addition, some plates are irreparably damaged. It was the first time that this happened on the day of the traffic test. Your browser does not support this audio player. You can download the file . Also in this edition of Decennium Dick a...
