Telstar player Plet pee in empty stadium during match

The fact that the football stadiums are not filled with public due to corona does not only have disadvantages. Telstar player Glynor Plet experienced this during the match against NEC last weekend. Because if you feel 'a puddle' coming up and there is no one to watch, you might as well empty your bladder at the edge of the field. And that's exactly what Plet did.
"We were five minutes into the game and I felt that I had to pee," said the player in the NH Radio program Spittijd. "We were under a lot of pressure, so I thought: if I walk in now, I will only make it more difficult for my team." So Glynor Plet played on with a pressing bladder. "But the longer that took, the more necessary I had to", he says in retrospect. When the ball went out and there was a corner, the Telstar player saw his chance. "Then I thought: now I just have to. I quickly jumped over the boarding and I thought: it just has to be. I just peeed and moved on."
The rest of the team and the opponent did not wait for him in the meantime. "I asked if they could wait to take the corner, but of course that was not possible." In any case, Plet was not penalized for it. "I think you saw that I got out of the field and luckily he didn't punish that, because you shouldn't actually just get out of the field. I can understand that it is not a normal action and that you are punishing it, but I am happy that this referee had more understanding for the situation. "
In any case, it did not have a negative influence on the game. Telstar beat NEC 5-2. And 'the wild peeer' himself also scored twice. He can also laugh about it himself. "I understand that people find it funny. I just have to focus on football and then it will blow over." Wow, a soccer player who plays in the wild.

Decade Dick: Almost all participants passed the traffic exam

Freek Bredius was a guest in Decennium Dick on behalf of Safe Traffic Netherlands department Krimpen aan den IJssel. He was able to tell us that 421 children participated in the practical traffic exam today. All but five children passed. Congratulations to all! The children who did not make it turned out to have cycled on the route with their hands free. The route started and ended at the Tuyter. Mayor Martijn Vroom was present to officially start the first class. 7.3 Kilometers was cycled and the children of the groups 7 and 8 passed all kinds of difficult intersections and traffic situations in Krimpen aan den IJssel. What was very annoying and difficult was that there have been young people who removed or turned around signs from the route. In addition, some plates are irreparably damaged. It was the first time that this happened on the day of the traffic test. Your browser does not support this audio player. You can download the file . Also in this edition of Decennium Dick a...
