Gibraltar players sew each other's shoes before game against Orange

The players of Orange were allowed back on the field yesterday. The opponent was: Gibraltar. That should not cause too many problems for the Dutch national team, if only because the shoes of the opponent are falling apart from misery. The photo that player Scott Wiseman shares on Instagram says it all. He sews on a shoe of a teammate, wondering whether one of the Dutch players would also do this on match day. The answer is easy to guess. And there are other, clearly identifiable reasons why the Dutch national team had to beat the men in Gibraltar yesterday without any problems. . For example, the entire selection of Gibraltar is worth 475,000 euros according to the leading Transfermarkt.de. The current selection of Orange, without Virgil van Dijk, costs a sloppy 512 million. Gibraltar, like the Netherlands, played two matches in qualifying. They lost 4-1 to Montenegro and 3-0 to Norway. The Dutch lost 4-2 to Turkey and won 2-0 to Latvia. And as you of course know: the Dutch 11 won after a 0-1 halftime score 0-7.

Decade Dick: Almost all participants passed the traffic exam

Freek Bredius was a guest in Decennium Dick on behalf of Safe Traffic Netherlands department Krimpen aan den IJssel. He was able to tell us that 421 children participated in the practical traffic exam today. All but five children passed. Congratulations to all! The children who did not make it turned out to have cycled on the route with their hands free. The route started and ended at the Tuyter. Mayor Martijn Vroom was present to officially start the first class. 7.3 Kilometers was cycled and the children of the groups 7 and 8 passed all kinds of difficult intersections and traffic situations in Krimpen aan den IJssel. What was very annoying and difficult was that there have been young people who removed or turned around signs from the route. In addition, some plates are irreparably damaged. It was the first time that this happened on the day of the traffic test. Your browser does not support this audio player. You can download the file . Also in this edition of Decennium Dick a...
