Mother wants to dump children in nature, son (6) clings to car and dies

America is horrified by the death of a 6-year-old boy. His mother deliberately left her children at night near a nature reserve and wanted to drive away. Her infant son James clung to the car, was dragged along and did not survive. The mother dumped his body a day later.

According to the Middletown, Ohio, police department, the facts date back to February 27. Mother Brittany Gosney claims her partner James Hamilton, 42, ordered her to "get rid" of her children. All three had to go, according to the man, who is not the father of the three. Gosney then drove to Rush Run Wildlife National Park at night with her three children, including six-year-old James. Once there, she forced the children to get out, she confessed during a police interview. Then she wanted to drive away. James, however, clung to the car. Gosney accelerated, but stopped after a while. However, her son had ended up under the car and died on the spot. Gosney put James's body back in the car, drove back to her two other children, and took them home. She put her son's body in the guest room with Hamilton. A day later, again in darkness, the two drove to Lawrenceburg, Indiana, tossed the remains into the Ohio River and reported little James missing to the police.
However, the police did not trust the confused story of the two and questioned them both separately. Gosney then admitted everything. She has been charged with murder, manipulating evidence, and dishonoring a deceased person. Hamilton is also suspected of the latter two facts. Gosney's two other children, a boy and a girl, are in foster care. Which makes perfect sense. Such a mother and friend should be severely punished, I think, grrrr.

In this Happy Hour we will play "Radar Love" from the Golden Earring around 5:15 pm. Because tomorrow the song will be played all over the Netherlands around 5:15 pm, because guitarist George Kooymans suffers from the nerve and muscle disease ALS. After a sleepless night, the sisters Yvonne and Winy van der Geest conceive the action to play their biggest hit "Radar Love" on March 11th. With success, because almost all Dutch radio stations respond to the call on Thursday at 5.15 pm.
Of course we also pay attention to a ridiculous appeal that Pastor Kort made to the government last year to ban 'sinful life'. We live in the 21st century, but this pastor wants to go back to the Middle Ages, brrrrr. But okay, luckily we have nice music and we go to people who have their birthday. The CD of the Month should of course also not be missed: “Sparkle” by Maya Isac Isacowitz.

Have fun listening!

It was the first time that this happened on the day of the traffic test. Your browser does not support this audio player. You can download the file . Also in this edition of Decennium Dick a...

The police in Hollands Kroon arrested a 17-year-old resident of Den Helder on Friday evening on suspicion of assault. Just before that, he had punched a girl in the face on the Lutjestrand, because she refused to share a portion of bitterballen with him. She reported the boy to police in the area. When he was arrested, he was searched and two telephones were found, which were probably stolen that same day, from bathers while swimming. The police are investigating the origin of the phones.
