Decade Dick - Follow the music
Demy from 'Break Out Krimpen' and dancer Yoni were guests in Decennium Dick tonight. What is Break Out Shrink? What are their plans? And what fun they have already done!
A few weeks ago they released a beautiful video clip entitled: 'Follow the music'. What was it like making that clip? A wonderful result and the young people show that they can also help make Krimpen aan den IJssel even more fun.

In the second hour we showed you a compilation of the live location broadcast of King's Day 2021. Balcony radio of the 'Remote Platform close by in Krimpen' again passed various apartment complexes and apartment buildings to bring some cheerfulness and entertainment on King's Day. We were there live at the Cascade, Gouden-Regen and the Nieuwe-Vliet flat.

That was one of the texts that was written down in chalk on the public road near the Mieras Church on Saturday. How can we find love again in Krimpen? How can we together ensure that peace is restored in our society? Where we can all live, work and live with pleasure? Living with pleasure is also one of the central points of the Youth Advisory Council of Krimpens-Belang. A group of 15 young people want to help local politicians with their ideas and will provide the Krimpens-Belang and thus actually the entire municipal council with input. This year it will be 70 years ago that the 1st generation Moluccans were transferred to the Netherlands in 1951 with 12 ship transports. On command, about 4000 Moluccan KNIL soldiers and Navy men came to the Netherlands with their families (in total 12,500 persons). At the point of arrival of the 1st transport ship at the Lloydkade in Rotterdam, it is not yet possible to trace a historical event. The National Moluccan Monument Foundation (LMM) is committed to realizing a monument. The monument will be a tribute to this 1st generation Moluccans and their families and in recognition of the shared past. The monument can also serve to continue telling the story of the arrival of Moluccans in the Netherlands to current and future generations. For anyone interested in this history, the foundation wants to offer an opportunity to learn more. They believe that more knowledge of each other's past leads to more understanding. After Erik's Tip, writer Marjo de Vroed sits down to tell something about herself and of course about her second book. Marjo de Vroed (1965) has lived in South Holland all her life and was a teacher at a Jenaplan school. She is married and has three grown daughters. When they were little, she regularly made up stories for them, which she brought to life with their hugs. She has loved writing since childhood. It started from group 4 with stories in the school newspaper and eventually resulted in adulthood in writing musicals for group 8 of her own school. In between, she wrote notebooks full of short stories and rhymes. And now children's books .
