Livestream RotjeKoor with Esmee van KampenSaturday 15 May at 4 p.m.

Because a live festival is not possible, RotjeKoor organizes a live stream around the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday 15 May. RotjeKoor is the largest choir festival in Rotterdam . During the livestream, Esmee van Kampen talks to each other of more than 10 choirs that perform a Eurovision song. And during the livestream, the Eurovision medley of the Mega-RotjeKoor can be heard for the first time .

Linda Caminita, who participated in the Eurovision Song Contest with Mrs Einstein in 1997 on behalf of the Netherlands, wrote a Eurovision medley. The medley starts with the Euriovision tune, after which pieces of eight Eurovision songs from different countries pass in review. From “Waterloo” to “De Troubadour” and “Ding-a-dong”.

Linda made the medley available and 227 choristers from the RotjeKoor supporters signed up. Due to the corona situation, of all the scenarios devised, only the virtual one is unfortunately possible. So in the end 156 singers sang into the medley and made videos of their recording. All that has been mixed and the video will be presented during the livestream on May 15 at 4 p.m. The livestream can be followed via the Facebook page of RotjeKoor -> https://rotjekoor.nl/livestream-15-mei/ . It is clear that we are going to talk about the Rotjekoor. And we are going to do that with Barbera and Ingrid van het Rotjekoor.

In Happy Hour we also have the item “Cover-Original”, from two ladies . Interesting right? In short, reason enough to listen today (Wednesday) between 5 pm and 6 pm and / or Saturday between 1 pm and 2 pm.

Have fun listening!

The children who did not make it turned out to have cycled on the route with their hands free. The route started and ended at the Tuyter. Mayor Martijn Vroom was present to officially start the first class. 7.3 Kilometers was cycled and the children of the groups 7 and 8 passed all kinds of difficult intersections and traffic situations in Krimpen aan den IJssel. It was the first time that this happened on the day of the traffic test. Your browser does not support this audio player. You can download the file . Also in this edition of Decennium Dick a...

The Dutch ship, also known as Noah's Ark, has already docked in the East English coastal town in November 2019. But according to the British Coast Guard, the vessel is unseaworthy, local media and the BBC report. It is unsafe to leave, the Coast Guard says. The VerhalenArk was built in 2006 by the Dutch contractor and carpenter Johan Huibers. The ship is a (smaller) reconstruction of Noah's Ark as described in the Bible. The replica is 70 meters long and 13 meters high. In 2010 the colossus was bought by former television producer Aad Peters. He wanted to make it the first floating Biblical theme park in Europe.
