Livestream RotjeKoor with Esmee van KampenSaturday 15 May at 4 p.m.

Because a live festival is not possible, RotjeKoor organizes a live stream around the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday 15 May. RotjeKoor is the largest choir festival in Rotterdam . During the livestream, Esmee van Kampen talks to each other of more than 10 choirs that perform a Eurovision song. And during the livestream, the Eurovision medley of the Mega-RotjeKoor can be heard for the first time .

Linda Caminita, who participated in the Eurovision Song Contest with Mrs Einstein in 1997 on behalf of the Netherlands, wrote a Eurovision medley. The medley starts with the Euriovision tune, after which pieces of eight Eurovision songs from different countries pass in review. From “Waterloo” to “De Troubadour” and “Ding-a-dong”.

Linda made the medley available and 227 choristers from the RotjeKoor supporters signed up. Due to the corona situation, of all the scenarios devised, only the virtual one is unfortunately possible. So in the end 156 singers sang into the medley and made videos of their recording. All that has been mixed and the video will be presented during the livestream on May 15 at 4 p.m. It is clear that we are going to talk about the Rotjekoor. And we are going to do that with Barbera and Ingrid van het Rotjekoor.

In Happy Hour we also have the item “Cover-Original”, from two ladies . Interesting right? In short, reason enough to listen today (Wednesday) between 5 pm and 6 pm and / or Saturday between 1 pm and 2 pm.

Erik's Tip is:

Have fun listening!

Decade Dick: Almost all participants passed the traffic exam

Freek Bredius was a guest in Decennium Dick on behalf of Safe Traffic Netherlands department Krimpen aan den IJssel. He was able to tell us that 421 children participated in the practical traffic exam today. All but five children passed. Congratulations to all! The children who did not make it turned out to have cycled on the route with their hands free. The route started and ended at the Tuyter. Mayor Martijn Vroom was present to officially start the first class. 7.3 Kilometers was cycled and the children of the groups 7 and 8 passed all kinds of difficult intersections and traffic situations in Krimpen aan den IJssel. What was very annoying and difficult was that there have been young people who removed or turned around signs from the route. In addition, some plates are irreparably damaged. It was the first time that this happened on the day of the traffic test. Your browser does not support this audio player. You can download the file . Also in this edition of Decennium Dick a...

#Sweet

#Lief is a themed broadcast of Decennium Dick on Thursday evening March 4, 2021 ... Love is never sin, living without love is sin! That was one of the texts that was written down in chalk on the public road near the Mieras Church on Saturday. How can we find love again in Krimpen? How can we together ensure that peace is restored in our society? Where we can all live, work and live with pleasure? Living with pleasure is also one of the central points of the Youth Advisory Council of Krimpens-Belang. A group of 15 young people want to help local politicians with their ideas and will provide the Krimpens-Belang and thus actually the entire municipal council with input. Two members of the Youth Advisory Council were our guests tonight. Your browser does not support this audio player. You can download the file . Then we spoke with Alderman Coen Derickx about the letter from Reverend Kort, about how it was discussed in the council and what will happen on Saturday. Your browser does ...

Possibly Fieldlab church service in Krimpen

Thursday evening April 1 in Decennium Dick in extended with Mayor Martijn Vroom to look back on the past week. Through Teams I spoke with the mayor tonight about the impasse, the polarization and how we hope to get out of this situation together. POLARIZATION This week for the churches 'The silent week' it is the week of Good Friday and the following Easter. But it was not quiet in Krimpen aan den IJssel. It was restless with a journalist being kicked in the stomach and a firework bomb that exploded near the 'Oude Gereformeerde Kerk in the Netherlands' popularly known as the Mieraskerk. There is polarization. The full city council issued a joint statement this week. The mayor calls it 'the basis for a lot of good that is yet to come'. But the mayor also realizes that more is needed to regain peace in Krimpen: 'Without outside help, I think we will not just get out as a village, so we have already discussed this road a number of times. had with the ministr...
